The Dook Nook Ferret Rescue & Shelter

Please see the link to the left for the kids who have come in from the HUGE Ohio rescue, also known as the DMK rescue. These adorable little girls will be here for a very short time, some for spaying, all for adv testing, distempers and rabies vaccines for as many as I can get done with the generous help of our wonderful vet, Dr. John Rossi.

(Some of the following pages are old but much of it still applies to the shelter kids who are still here. Right now this site is for the Ohio kids to the left.)

Donations to help offset some of the expense of taking these little girls in would be greatly appreciated. It became lots more than expected despite the spays donated by my vet, Dr. Rossi and Dr. Cottrell in Gainesville. There were other medicines needed, food, a/d, baby food, Carnivore Care, litter and especially supplies when we thought some of the girls may be pregnant.

**The young, healthy kids from the May 2006 rescue have gone on to forever homes and a few to other shelters due to my illness last fall. Sadly, some have gone on to the Bridge. The remaining kids are older/ill and are special needs, on medications and soup feedings. Donations/Sponsors would be so very welcome for these old, very sweet kids.
